Taylor Swift Album :RED part II

Taylor Swift merilis album terbarunya, Red pada tahun 2012. Reaksi untuk album ini sangat baik, dengan mudah mematahkan rekor album Speak Now sebelumnya dengan menjual 1,208,000 kopi pada minggu pertamanya saja. Album ini terjual bersih di situs iTunes dan Amazon dalam waktu kurang dari 30 menit. Lagu pertamanya, "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together (Like, Ever)" berhasil menjadi lagu pertama Swift yang menduduki posisi pertama di Billboard Hot 100, menduduki posisi itu untuk empat minggu sejauh ini. Empat lagu lain dirilis sebagai lagu promosi, semuanya berhasil masuk Top 15, diantaranya "Begin Again" diposisi #7, "Red" diposisi #6, "I Knew You Were Trouble" diposisi #3, dan "State of Grace" diposisi #13.

Melengkapi sukses penjualan, Red pun banyak dipuji oleh kritikus, kebanyakan menyukai musikal Swift yang berfikir out of the box dan menikmati Swift bereksperimen dengan genre musik baru seperti arena rock dan folk. Swift akan mensupport album ini dengan Red Tour-nya yang dipastikan tiketnya akan terjual habis dalam sekejap seperti biasanya.
